For a fee of Rs 6000/- per mark per class, we conduct a TM search and prepare and file the TM application and provide the receipt of the application to the client. We can file TM application within 24 hours of receipt of full payment of fee i.e. Rs.6000/- and duly signed copy of TM-48 ( An authority letter from the client) . To have a better understanding of the procedure of making TM application for registration of Trade Mark and the cost of getting it registered it is advisable that one should read the following
| STEP 1 |
The procedure for TM registration starts with the client providing details of the MARK OR LOGO with the details of goods and services in relation to which the Mark or Logo is used or proposed to be used in the TM Request Form. | STEP 2 | After receiving the said information we will make the search and inform the client about the search result. In case result of the search is not favorable , we will ask for more marks or Names and do the TM search. When the result of search is favorable, we will send the soft copy of TM-48 ( Authority letter) to the client with the request to send the duly signed hard copy of TM-48 to us and deposit Rs.6000/- in our bank account. |

| STEP 3 | Generally within 24 hours of receipt of the power of attorney(TM-48) and the fee of Rs. 6000/- per mark per class , we prepare and file the TM application and send the copy of Acknowledgement issued by TM office to client. |

| STEP 4 |
Once we have filed the TM application , it is examined by the Registrar of Trade Mark and Registrar may or may not raise the objections to the Trade Mark Application. If Objection is raised by the Registrar of Trade Mark, we must reply to that objection by putting forth the legal grounds on which the application should not be objected. In case the Registrar of Trade Mark is not satisfied with the written reply, a hearing is sought and the case is presented before the Registrar of Trade Marks. In case the decision of the Registrar is not favorable , an application for review or appeal to appellate Tribunal may have to be made. In case Registrar does not raise objection or is satisfied with the reply or representation given , the MRAK Or LOGO is adverised in Official Journal of Trade Mark . All the said activities in this step 4 would require man hours of the attorney/ Trade Mark Agent which would entail the charges that would depend upon the nature of application and the issues raised by The Registrar of Trade Mark. |

| STEP 5 | After the MARK or LOGO is advertised in TM Journal, the Mark or Logo may or may not be opposed by any person. In case the opposition is received by the registrar, reply of the same is to prepared and filed with the registrar. This may also involve hearing before the Registrar of Trade Mark. The charges for making reply to the opposition and for attending the hearing relating to opposition would depend upon the nature and complexities of the opposition received by the registrar of trade mark. |

In case there is no objection or opposition to the TM application , the cost of registering the Trade Mark would be Rs.6000/- per mark per class and the time taken to receive the final TM Registration Certificate may be 16 to 24 months.
